Developer with a focus on experiments and growth

Are you a talented and creative developer? And do you want to work with data driven optimization of user experience and business in a global company with high volume? Then read on.

The company

SimpleSite is a Danish-based global provider of design and hosting services for private individuals and small businesses. We have 60.000 paying subscribers worldwide, are present in 14 markets outside of Denmark and have 300.000 trials and 5.000 new paying customers every month. That is a serious amount of daily and monthly data on user behavior. We have gained substantial improvements in our service and business through data-based analysis of GUI and usability, user behavior and commercial behavior. Using A/B tests and statistical methods, we have been able to improve key KPIs by 10, 20 and 30% on several occasions. The results have had a huge impact on our business, profitability and growth rates.

We are looking for a developer

We want to intensify our data-driven approach to improve our service, customer engagement and business KPIs. For this, we seek to fill a half- or full-time position for a developer. The position will have a primary focus on experiments, improvements and the collection and use of data – we want a ”Growth hacker” (Google it!). The work will be very explorative in nature and will be carried out in close collaboration with the CTO, the CSO and the CEO.

About you

  • You must be a skilled and creative developer. We mainly use ASP.Net, C#, SQL and jQuery, but experience with similar web-stacks is also acceptable.
  • You must love data and Excel. You must want to create a data foundation, make it tell a story and use it to drive real-world improvements.
  • You could be looking for a full-time position or a student job.

The opportunity

If you are looking for an interesting place to develop your skills in data-driven usability and business development, you’ll be hard pressed to find a more experienced team of colleagues or a richer source of real-life data. Your work is likely to have substantial impact.
